6th AXDW Side Events

In the 6^th AXDW, once again Fashion became a Festival by introducing unique side events:

Opening party powered by BEST 92,6, sponsored by Elite Stoli. After Angelos Frentzos show, one of the most famous Greek DJ's, Cleopatra Fyntanidou (Clo Clo) was on the decks and made the crowd move all night long.

A glamorous night of New Designers Awards ! The Best Designer Award and the Best Trendsetter Award were won by Evangelina Kavroulaki and the Best Catwalk by Dusanka Duric.

An xclusive exhibition of the most fashionable covers of the biggest fashion magazines. It was the first time that such an artistic approach was implemented as an initiative of AXDW team.

AXDW supported this time the aims of Elliniki Eteria of Enviroment and Culture. Fashion with Social Responsibility: this is the philosophy of AXDW! A fashionable t-shirt especially designed for that cooperation with the message «designed to inspire» was sold during the 4 days of the event so as to reinforce the aims of Elliniki Eteria.

A unique photo exhibition dedicated to the Modern Movement of 30s, with pictures of the most beautiful buildings of that decade in Athens and an interactive action buying stickers so as to reveal a huge photo of a 30s building!

An open forum with the participation of university people, architects, businessmen and designers regarding the Modern Movement of the 30's with the participation of distinguished speakers:

A photo exhibition by George Mestousis  with Amanda De Val as a model. It was a special project which was meant to inspire for hope, love, optimism, joy, dedicated to homeless children.

Live Booths by Best Radio,VFM and En Lefko every day. Music loves fashion and in every AXDW, well known radio producers perform live from AXDW venue! George Kampouris, Nikos Drogosis and Cleopatra from Best Radio - Manolis Oikonomou and Claudia Matola from EN LEFKO - Maria Konstantaki with Kostas Petasis from VFM, made our evenings even more intersting with their music.

MAD TV took part in a creative way: they ran a tailor made project for a fashion event such as AXDW. For 4 days, a huge banner was placed in the venue with concept «Τell us your secret fashion tip» where people could say on camera their fashion secrets!
